Second Interview

Tomorrow is our second interview with the social worker.  Pray for us please.  I get so nervous.  We are so grateful for how God keeps providing through Mary Kay money and through Michele Maloney and Julie Jones and their hard work in photo shoots.  We have also received a few gifts as of recent.  It is so fun to watch God be faithful.

I recently just returned from a trip to see my family in Idaho.  Something fun that I was able to see God orchestrate is that my mom who is a preschool teacher now has an Ethiopian student in her class.  I feel like God put this young girl in her class to give my mother some familiarity.  My mom is enjoying getting to know her and looking forward to meeting her own granddaughter.  I am loving what God will do in every corner of your life.  Abby and I also enjoyed getting to know her as well.  I would have never imagined when growing up in Coeurd'Alene, Idaho that I would know more internationally adopted children in Coeurd'Alene than here in Detroit.  Crazy how my home has changed.  One day I was visiting my mother at work.  She had her children in music class.  I started crying as I saw a classroom of 4-5 year old children singing their hearts out to Jesus.  Two of them from Ethiopia, two of them from Guatemala, two from Asia and the rest Caucasian.  Truly Gorgeous!
